As with all transmitting and receiving devices
various outside conditions can determine
distance. Example: Terrain and foliage. TrailBeacons
are designed to give up to 150’ between
each unit and 600’ for the whole system
depending on application .
2: Can I expand the range of the TrailBeacon
system?
YES: All TrailBeacons operate on the same
frequencies, simply add more units to expand
the distance.
3: What is the battery life of the TrailBeacons?
TrailBeacons can operate up to 2 months
or more depending on usage in the power
ON position. TrailBeacons use high performance
Lithium batteries and a sleep mode for
optimum power life.
4: Are the batteries easy to purchase?
YES: They can be found at most retail outlets.
